My name is Ogun Citlak.

I've always had a passion for photography. I started amateur photography in 2011…

My first camera was a Panasonic FZ-7 brand/model fixed lens camera. I collected many memories with that camera. But there was something that just didn't fit me. The photos I took were not like the ones I saw on the internet or in magazines. In 2011, I saw an advertisement of Bergama Amateur Photography Association (BEAFSAD). It was about basic photography training. I signed up for that training right away.  My amateur photography work actually started with that training.

At that time, the chairman of the board of BEAFSAD was Levent Karacaoğlu. The first basic photography training was given by Tayfun Kocaman, a well-known veteran of the photography community. Later I understood how important basic photography knowledge is. 

By establishing a website and selecting some of the photos I have taken over the years,  The idea of sharing came to my mind when I retired. What good are all the photos waiting on hard drives!
